BBC Trust

In advance of the Police and Crime Commissioner Elections to be held on 15 November 2012, the BBC is publishing guidelines ("the Guidelines") for its editorial staff to refer to when covering the PCC elections.

The Guidelines were developed by the BBC Executive and were subject to consultation by the Trust in July 2012. The Trust agreed upon the Guidelines as drafted. The Trust's decision and the approved Guidelines are linked below and come into effect immediately.
