The BBC Trust has published its endorsement of a BBC Executive decision to remove dedicated programmes for children on Radio 4 Extra.

The decision to remove the obligation in Radio 4 Extra’s service licence follows the Trust’s consideration of an assessment carried out by the BBC Executive of the impact of the change. The Trust also took into account its own extensive research carried out as part of its review of BBC Children’s services in 2013.
