The trail showcased a number of extracts from Our World, which it described as “a series of documentary films that reveal the human drama at the heart of global events”. The extracts included people expressing their own responses to a range of issues and events, including recent wars and conflicts as well as abortion legislation.  In the ECU’s judgement, viewers in general would readily have understood that the intention was to give a flavour of the series rather than provide an exploration of the issues to be dealt with at greater length in each programme.  In this context, there was no requirement to balance the comments made by individual contributors with comments from a contrary viewpoint.
