A viewer complained that a report by the BBC’s International Editor Jeremy Bowen included an interview with Lynn Hastings, the UN’s Deputy Special Co-Ordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, in which he put questions to her which reflected bias against Israel.  The ECU considered the complaint in the light of the BBC’s editorial standards of impartiality.
